 Nowadays, men tend to be more exploratory and experimental in a sense that they are looking for something different. Call it the folly of youth, but for young men, keeping to the conventional is boring. Young men may have the same perception when it comes to dating, and in this arena, they may be looking for that altered status quo by flirting with older women.
After all, older women can be as attractive, if not more attractive than younger women. Many may find that statement controversial, but there is actually some consistency to it. True, younger women have the charm of their youth, but older women, they have the allure of confidence and mastery. For a change, a man may want to date an older woman.

It could be that they find older women sexy owing to the independence they exude or it could be that they appear more experienced, especially in matters going on in the bedroom. Younger men, owing to their potent sexuality may be looking for a higher level of sexual excitement and satisfaction, thus they flirt with older women.
Older women do give out an air of sex appeal, and younger men often find this attractive. But alas, making an older woman give in to the flirting and advances of a younger man may be like attracting bees with vinegar. Older women may not easily fall prey to the juvenile whims of a younger man, unless of course they are just in for the fun of it.
Older women, after all those years of coming to blows with life certainly know what they want, and men may find that intimidating. And definitely, older women know more than younger men, so even striking a sensible conversation would be difficult, unless of course the woman deliberately stoops down to the level of the younger man.
Older women have gained a sense of who they are, they have achieved a solid sense of individuality through the years while younger men are still in the process of catering to their masculine egos. Older women may find the immaturity of a younger man absurd, thus, dating him can prove to be a waste of time.
Older women are more concerned with worthwhile matters, but younger men, they may just be out to try something new. Matters which have to do with life may bore younger men, but such is what basically older women have gained mastery of. The self-sufficiency of an older woman can take a younger man aback, and it may take a lot of effort to soften up a mature woman.
What does younger and older have in common? Not a lot for sure, and this can be a problem with relationships between younger men and older women. Unless a mature woman is out in the dating pool to have a good time, it may be difficult for a younger man to get hold of her regard.
And when a mature woman is indeed out for a serious relationship, she may as well find a man of the same level of experience and maturity. And besides, younger men may even steer clear of such a circumstance- commitment with an older woman. When older women intend to date for serious companionship, they mean business, and this, younger men may just not be able to deal with.
