Natural beauty. Many people would say that is so passé. That it is old fashioned and simply outmoded. After all, the fashion industry reigns with all its glamour. Is there ever room for natural beauty anymore? The pages of trendy magazines are all laced with glamorous women- garbed in chic and designer clothes.
Covered with make up and cosmetics from the hands of so called artists. Such has been connoted with beauty- sophistication and glamour. When somebody says “natural beauty”, it is probably something which most would disregard. Natural beauty seem to hold no attraction to the masses. Natural beauty is connoted with the ordinary and the commonplace.

Even the mediocre. Where cosmetics and cosmetic procedures dominate, natural beauty seems to hold no sway. After all, glamorous is striking. It is fabulous and flamboyant. With all these ostentation, natural beauty is subdued. Such is why the fashion industry is so lucrative. It is also predominant and it is commanding.
The majority is swayed by what the fashion industry dictates. What clothes to wear, which cosmetics to use. Who the trendsetters are. The fashion industry makes the rules as to what is socially acceptable. More so, the fashion industry imposes as to who should fit in. That’s why it takes courage to stand out with one’s natural beauty.
To just be and to bask in what one truly is. It takes a great amount of confidence for one to just be themselves and take pride in it. Others may think that those garbed in designer clothes and accessories are those who are truly confident. But for all they know, these people can be hiding their insecurities.
They hide behind expensive belongings. But really, who are they without these possessions? They allow these effects to define who they are. Until it gains dominance over them and they lose their own identity. They merely become one of the faces in the crowd wearing what everybody wears. They drown in the multitude which the trend has gained control of.
When one keeps to their natural beauty, others would think that they are inconspicuous. But the truth is, natural beauty is where true beauty lies. Natural beauty knows no fallacy. Natural beauty may not be so striking, but it is something which is authentic. When one is confident with who they are, then that means they have character.
Individuality. And that is something worth taking note of. That’s what natural beauty is about. It may not be so remarkable but it is something worthy. There is no need to conform with what fashion commands. It is taking a stand to be apart and to be free to be what one truly is.
True beauty is not covered with make up, but it is something inherent which stands out. When one basks in their true beauty, then they are happy with themselves. They know who they are and are not afraid to show it. They are at liberty to be which takes tremendous character and confidence to achieve.
It can be so easy to be blinded by the glitter of glamour. But what can be authentic may not be so shiny after all. It takes keen eyes to see what real beauty is. It may not be in the spotlight but in one corner where it hidden. After all, what truly matters is worth looking for.
