You can see the hype in fitness magazines, books and websites. The same can be said with fitness programs on tv. Yes, it’s . The first thing that would probably come into your mind is that it is a fad. And fads don’t last. But the thing with interval training is that it has credible health and fitness benefits. Everything progresses through time. So it is with fitness programs. And so considering interval training as one of the upgrades in the fitness arena can make sense. Knowledge and information advance and those in the fitness industry have been devising better means to boost physical health.

Interval training was then introduced to the public to pave the way for better fitness. Intervals, as others would call it. With intervals, there is a better formula for exercising. Intervals can also enable one to maximize their time. Such exercises also require less effort. But that doesn’t mean that they are ineffective. Interval training delivers weight loss and health results. Why include interval training into your fitness regimen? For one thing, doing intervals is a mighty fat burner. Fat burning is one of the greatest benefits of doing intervals. You may ask why so. Well it’s because the intensity of your workout during the interval enables you to burn fat long after the exercise is over.



Long cardio sessions only make you burn fat while you are performing the activity. That is not the case with and apparently this is a big plus. Interval exercises often require nothing more than your own body weight. Getting better at intervals also means that you are getting stronger. If you still can’t do push up’s or pull-up’s, imagine being able to do so. Or doing more than the amount that you usually can. These are possible with regular interval training. From picking up your children to carrying the groceries, you can see improvements. The same goes with your other daily tasks.

You can save yourself time by doing interval training. Most of us often have more than we can handle. Such is why interval training has more advantage. They don’t require much time to carry out. Interval training merely requires 45 minutes or so of your time and only at 3 days per week at that. Most people can manage to fit that into their routine, which is good. With less time spent for exercise, it means they can gain more health and fitness rewards. When strength training is included in intervals, it can help make you build lean muscles. And muscles burn more calories that fat.

A boosted metabolism can be had with interval training. With a boosted metabolism, you continue to burn calories even when you are at rest. And you won’t likely be bored with interval training. With interval routines, there is variation. With them, you can find that exercising is fun. When exercise doesn’t feel like one, then you will find it engaging. It would mean less effort but yet the exercise is effective. All these with interval training. So are you convinced now?
