Understanding Coronary Heart Disease

Tags: , , ,

Statistics placed about 13 million Americans alone who suffers from Coronary Heart Disease every year, reason why early detection and treatment is advised. In laymen’s terms, Coronary Heart Disease develops at the earliest time such as growing teen-age years where fatty deposits are stuck to the walls of the coronary arteries.

In time and with more fatty deposits added, the tendency is to thicken, ultimately constricting the arteries and resulting in Coronary Heart Disease. These fatty deposits are sourced from food intake vis a vis poor healthy choices. Coronary Heart Disease does not develop overnight so in a sense, it can be avoided and with early intervention, can be better treated and managed.

Coronary Hearth Disease calls for appropriate treatment and management in order not to succumb to more serious complications. Through it all though, Coronary Heart Disease like any other heart disorder can be fought albeit with serious risks. Symptoms of Coronary Heart Disease are the same for most heart patients but sadly, the most pronounced and often times, fatal, is cardiac arrest.

Contributing factors also include age, gender, genes, race, diabetes, weight and blood pressure. Other symptoms include chest pains, palpitations, seeming breathlessness even when at rest or at the slightest of physical activity and fainting spells. Patients diagnosed with Coronary Heart Disease also have common symptoms of a severe crushing pain that goes away upon rest yet is marked with sweating, nausea, and light-headedness.

Women with Coronary Heart Disease at times also suffers fluid retention in legs, lungs, ankles, and other places with complaints of recurring upset stomachs, rapid heartbeats, and chronic fatigue. Yet with early diagnosis and corresponding treatment and management of Coronary Heart Disease, matched with healthy lifestyle, the problem can be addressed.

It is important to know though that in trying to prevent and best manage Coronary Hearth Disease it must be understood that heart disease per se is a very common disease which is affecting approximately around more than 7% of the world’s population. The symptoms which are related with various forms are as follow: • The most common symptom of a heart disease is a slight pain or pressure on the chest and often sometimes might be a devastating sensation which can be felt at the rear end of the breast bone.

• Pain which may also be experienced in the arms, shoulder or legs may also be considered as certain virtual symptom of heart disease. • The pain may last for a longer period of time. But yes, though it may sound ridiculous narcotic drug can help in overcoming of the pain in the heart.

• Heart disease symptoms can also be experienced when there is cold sweat coming out of the body. • Heart disease can be accompanied with symptoms like nausea and lack of proper inhaling. • Certain indigestion problems may also cause heart disease. • Obesity can also lead to the formation of certain heart disease.

Heart disease is a global problem. Coronary Heart Disease is everybody’s problem. So all the more that it becomes both a personal responsibility and the community's collective responsibility to understand Coronary Heart Disease.
