Together, they must make up the theme of your home and garden. All in all, they should be unified and not scattered. They ought to complement each other and unity is essential. It takes much of your aesthetic ability to decorate your home and garden. It can be fun, and stimulating and challenging at the same time.
But since it is you who is creating something for yourself, it can be worthwhile and fulfilling, too. In your theme and décor, you can express your identity or even your fantasies! It takes having good taste and creativity to build up and unify your theme and décor. Whichever you choose to create, make sure that it pleases you and that you are comfortable with it.
When you are in it, it must create the feeling that it is your own haven. Much more, your visitors, friends and family should feel at ease, too. It is the pleasure, creativity and capability of making your own décor which can make these possible.
