Growth in its real sense is all-encompassing. It should be geared towards the progression of the mind and spirit and not only of the body. It is in fact the evolution of the mind and the spirit which holds the ultimate sway. The invisible aspects are ironically those which are more of the essence, and they are seated within the inner being.
This inner being contains vast energy, and it's boundless. Infinite knowledge and potential are in the self within and they make up the masterpiece which is human being. There is limitless life and power within every human being. But many are not aware of their true potential. They have contentedly dwelled on what they are capable of through their material selves, which is but limited.

 Immensely limited. But the mind and soul which is infinitely substantial can be drawn upon to meet with the endless boundaries of being. People perennially search for happiness, success and a better quality of living. Most everybody takes part in the quest for a blissful existence. Many are eager and look forward to the promises of tomorrow and the more pleasant life it can bring.
Or there are those who cling to possessions and experiences which give joy and satisfaction. But all these things that many people dream of today, they can be found within them, at this moment. All it needs is for that vast energy and power from the inside to be brought to the surface.
It is then that the dreams of tomorrow can become a reality this instant. This cosmic human potential is but waiting to be discovered and unleashed. And this is where transcendental meditation comes into the picture. Transcendental meditation is geared towards the purpose of liberating the immense wellspring of life, energy and knowledge from within the human.
It aims on bridging the gap that separates a person from their inner self. And to allow them to discover the endless treasures lurking from their innermost essence. How does this spiritual practice work? Behind this spiritual activity is the reiteration of a mantra along with certain principles and procedures.
When one achieves the ultimate benefits, they can attain a special state of mind, otherwise known as “transcendental consciousness”. Being in this state would allow one to experience tranquility and alertness. These two states may seem ironic to go with each other, but achieving such a stance is possible. And once it is realized, the benefits are overwhelmingly sublime.
The material world is restricted, thus it is binding. But with transcendental meditation, the being is able to transcend the limits of the material. The being is set free, and the mind and the body, they become calm. They become unperturbed by the constraints of the physical world. Not much effort is needed for such an endeavor, or no tedious concentration.
The mantra will serve as a guide for one to transcend their worldly thoughts. Being free from the bounds of material perceptions, one can then discover the ocean of potential within them. Truths from the depths of one’s soul can be revealed through their intellect. Transcendental meditation is about looking inward, and in keeping in touch with the self.
And all the dormant potentials endowed to human can then come to life. This is the challenge of transcendental meditation- to bring out a person’s hidden potential out into their daily life. Living in this state can only be akin to bliss as one is according to their true essence.
