It is generally an advantage to have gone through courses in anatomy, biology, chemistry, mathematics, social sciences and physics when pursuing a physical therapy education. After having accomplished the necessary requirements from a physical therapy education, prospective health therapists will then take the final step of undergoing a licensure exam as all states require a license for practicing physical therapists. There are various career opportunities for physical therapists by being affiliated with clinics or hospitals or by venturing into self-employment or independent practice. A gainful employment awaits those who are eager to aid in giving a better quality of life to others, and it all starts with the willingness to learn through a rigorous yet worthwhile .
