Rejuvenating Dry Skin With Natural Skin Care

The skin is a woman’s natural clothing, and for her to be clothed with beauty, thorough and intensive skin care is essential. One of the most common dilemmas that goes in the way of smooth, healthy and supple skin is roughness and dryness. Some individuals have the misfortune of being born with dry skin while others develop it through several factors such as overexposure to sunlight, harsh climatic conditions such as severe cold or heat or artificial room cooling or heating.

Those with improper skin care regimen such as excessive use of soaps and facial wash or those without skin care at all are sure to develop dry skin. Those who remain conscientious about their skin are aware that dry skin tends to age faster due to lack of necessary oil and moisture that keep the skin smooth and supple.

A recommended skin care regimen for those with dry skin is the application of an oil massage using either almond or olive oil all over the face and the body before bathing after which a warm bath is recommended.

After bathing, it is best that one applies a good quality and suitable body lotion or moisturizer for skin care. It is vital as well to put on sunscreen during daytime to protect the skin from harmful UV rays. Dry skin requires extra skin care and attention and that includes the application of a daytime and nighttime outer eye cream to provide oil for the skin and prevent the manifestations of premature aging such as fine lines and wrinkles.





Rather than resorting to harsh and chemically concentrated skin beauty products, it may be more preferable to use natural and herbal skin care applications. They are generally safer and more gentle to the skin causing no side effects and their natural properties aid in rejuvenating from the inside while protecting on the outside.

Natural skin care, which may be the best regimen to adhere to, does not necessarily require one to spend for costly products. A healthy, glowing skin can be had by concocting natural ingredients such as honey, eggs, rosewater, banana and strawberries. Honey is a good moisturizer, and those who regularly apply it are on the natural path to glowing skin.

A regular skin care regimen of applying honey daily on the skin and the neck and then wash it off in ten minutes is bound to be radiant with smooth and well-nourished skin in time. Mashed ripe bananas can rejuvenate the skin by applying it as a mask as well as mashed ripe strawberries mixed with cream.

A face mask made up of honey, raw egg and rose water can offer that enviable vibrant and soft skin when incorporated into a skin care regimen. Aside from these natural beauty tips, it is best to note that healthy skin is a manifestation of overall health as well, thus it is only necessary that one adheres to a wholesome diet made up of fruits and vegetables, cereals, and nuts.

This, when complemented with external skin care will deliver the best benefits for the skin by preventing premature aging of the skin. Drinking copious amounts of water and adequate rest and sleep are musts for skin care as well. In the same manner, a healthy lifestyle of doing away with soft drinks, excessive tea and coffee, alcohol and smoking will make a skin care regimen effective paving the way for glowing and smooth skin that can withstand aging and harmful irritants.
