Tending to her reproductive health is an essential measure that every woman has to take. A woman’s distinctive reproductive characteristic gives her an identity of what she is.

For most women, “normal” menstrual cycle can mean a host of different things. What may be normal menstrual cycle for some women may be the exact opposite of what’s normal for others.

When one is aware of the changes, then they can seek medical attention. Such is why a woman must take notice of her menstrual cycle. If one isn’t aware of the changes in her menstrual cycle, time will come that the changes can become drastic.
It may be a bit late for her then, as her medical condition may have progressed. And this is where a menstrual cycle calendar comes in. It can be one of the most useful tools handy that every woman can have. By such a calendar, it means one in which a woman can keep track of her menstrual cycle.
The menstrual cycle calendar can be a sort of journal. Or perhaps an appointment calendar with blocks big enough to write in. A menstrual calendar can even be a small wire bound notebook which can be kept in the purse. And now for making notes in the menstrual calendar. A menstrual cycle calendar is to be carried in one’s keeping at all times.
Then one can make notes of anything related to her menstrual cycle. Things like when premenstrual or menstrual symptoms are experienced. These symptoms can be mood swings, backaches, fatigue and bloating to name a few. When one experiences menstrual cramps, they are to be taken note of in the calendar as well.
The same thing with when the menstrual period started, how light or heavy it is and when it ended. It is then that one can be aware of the pattern and nature of her menstrual cycle. If there are changes, even minor ones, they can easily be distinguished. Changes in the menstrual cycle doesn’t necessarily indicate a medical condition.
However, keeping a menstrual calendar can be one of the effective means for a woman to ensure her reproductive health.
