It is rather the multi-faceted benefits of power yoga which all the more makes this yoga technique gain a significant number of following.

Power yoga classes abound in almost every major gym all over the world, and there are basically many reasons for such a trend. This may not at all be surprising as those who have engaged and became immersed in the yoga activity openly acknowledge its physical benefits and overall health rewards.

What is the nature of power yoga, and what are its benefits which seem so enticing? Primarily, power yoga is a branching out of the physically robust and dynamic yoga technique called Ashtanga. Ashtanga yoga is of the Hindu tradition and religion of India. Power yoga emphasizes the development of an individual’s flexibility and nurtures their desire for a vigorous total body workout.

Apparently, power yoga touches on the mental and spiritual facet of an individual’s overall personality and this one attribute makes this yoga technique stand out as one of the most effective and appealing. It takes intricate skill to tap, develop and nourish the mental and spiritual aspect of an individual, but as these rewards are delivered by power yoga, it has sparked the interest of more and more individuals.
