Tags: , ,

Who doesn’t want to be fit and trim. Being fit and trim by all means have to do with looking good. It certainly is pleasant to see somebody lean and svelte. But the thing is, such an appearance needs hard work. Hard work of controlling one’s diet and engaging in regular exercise. Dieting actually has nothing to do with starving. It is more of eating healthy foods. And exercise. What is the most effective exercise to lose weight and be healthy? may be the best bet for this. What is aerobic exercise, actually? The term “aerobic” is in fact a Greek word.

It means “with oxygen”. Swimming, cross country skiing, brisk walking, jogging and aerobic dancing are some of the most popular forms of aerobic exercise. These form of aerobic exercises need more energy to carry out. Energy is needed to perform any sort of physical activity. But aerobic exercise, it uses up energy the most. There is actually much more to aerobic exercise. makes use of the body’s large muscle groups. And it uses them in a steady, rhythmic and sustained movement. This activity requires oxygen to produce energy. Oxygen when combined with stored fat in the body’s cells produces oxygen.

The longer aerobic exercise is performed, the more energy is needed. The more the number of calories is then burned. Aerobic exercise also tremendously benefits the heart. Keeping to a regular aerobic exercise program will improve cardio-respiratory endurance. This means a stronger heart and fortified lungs. The heart, the lungs and the blood vessels are able to produce more energy. Such is why aerobic exercise promotes better blood circulation. The major organs of the body have a boosted functioning. They are able to work well, and better. And muscular endurance. This is also one of the best rewards of aerobic exercise.

With regular aerobic exercise, stored fat in the body’s cells are being used up. This then results to a boosted physical health. What’s more weight loss is promoted. This means being physically fit and healthy. And no doubt, exercise can also result to being mentally and emotionally fit, too. Exercise causes the body to release endorphins. These chemicals in the body give one a buoyant sensation. It actually gives one a pleasant feeling of confidence and optimism. That’s what exercise can do. More so if it is . These and many more are the reasons why it is important to engage in regular exercise.

Physical health and fitness. And better mental and emotional conditions. Apparently, regular exercise means total wellness. And total wellness means well-being. Well-being results to a better quality of life. A better quality of life can only mean worthwhile living. Such is worth striving for, even if it means hard work and effort. Exercise by no doubt is hard work with tremendous rewards. It is well worth the effort to exercise and gain well-being in the long run. Once the doctor guarantees that it is safe for one to carry out an exercise program, then it is an opportunity to attain better living.
