Less Gym Hours, More Rest For Big Muscle

Tags: , ,

For those who are inexperienced in the arena of muscle building, the common notion could be that they have to work hard and constantly work out in the gym to build . Such a misconception will basically cause them much wasted time as the trick in stimulating muscle growth is actually the contrary. It is a clear and simple formula of less gym hours and more rest. As much as this may sound effortless and appealing, one should not get complacent. Big muscle equates to hard work- always- and although one need not train for long hours, their concise training period in the gym has to be intensive.

Following short but intensive weight lifting, it is then necessary that one has ample recovery time as it is the period when muscle growth occurs. There are those who spend unnecessary hours in the gym 5 to 6 days a week, and even for a long number of years to achieve their ardent desire of developing big muscle. Such measure, other than being untrue can be ineffective. Hard work as a prerequisite for big muscle is not regarded in that sense. One can actually accomplish considerable muscle growth with a 40-minute session spread three times a week. Doesn’t that seem a big relief? With such a measure, one’s hard work, although intensive, need not be prolonged.

In fact, one can even have big muscle in lesser time when routines are done properly. After a full recovery from one’s workout sessions, it is then that their muscles will grow in size. For a surefire means to have big muscle- and fast – is to have more time spent for rest than for working out. Sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it? And there remains another misconception as well, and it is those of individuals who want to take full advantage of such theory. Such individuals often train less and rest more to build in the shortest possible time with the fallacy that their training need not be so arduous.

The fact that one ought to take into account is that for big muscle growth, their workouts have to be more vigorous than ever despite having shorter training days. Such basically means that if one wants to have big muscle in a short time, they have to stretch their strength and endurance to the limit. For one to have those long coveted big muscle, they have to train until their muscles cannot even move an inch of the weights. Such is the price to pay for big muscle. A pricey one, but guaranteed at that. For instance, having big muscle may entail that one does two more reps than the normal 8 reps required for a lifting exercise.

Squeezing in two more reps may require the aid of a training buddy, but such is precisely the point when one wants to have big muscle. The idea is to progress beyond one’s normal effort and soon one can have those big muscle which they yearn for. And it means growth and stimulation faster than one can imagine.
