Do you think of a person’s personality as a whole? Or do you only look at a persons face? Surely we all have different opinions when asked about this question, but normally, beauty would almost always be associated with women. On a personal note I believe that beauty should not only be seen from the outside but it must also penetrate in the inside. Yes, this concept is a cliché, but come to think of it, it is never practiced. Yes being beautiful is having a toned body and to maintain it as such, one should eat a balanced diet. But my question to you is; are you also being beautiful inside? Do you behave in accordance to your age? Yes you eat healthy foods, but are you living a healthy life? You see all these and more are just some of the contributing factors if you want to become totally beautiful. And in the concept beauty or of being attractive, I believe, that it is of the same thing. Beauty here is measured on how you carry yourself in a given situation, on how responsible you are when an opportunity comes, and lastly it is also measured on how sensitive you are. Because for me being attractively beautiful should not only be skin deep; it should transcend that concept. By this I am writing this article which is fully dedicated to all men and on how to attract women. Here’s one simple and effective way to attract us women. Avoid body odor. Most women I know dislike men who have body odor. My advice therefore, you should take a bath on a daily basis. You see, perspiration leads to body odor, so all the more reason that you should take good care of your body and your personal hygiene. Another advice is to bring with you deodorants, because they will protect your underarms from unwanted smell. Lastly bring colognes and perfumes with you just to keep you feeling fresh. Lastly, women dislikes men who are flabby, this means that you should exercise. Now if I should connect this exercise thing in the concept of inner beauty; the word that would come out would be “Discipline”, simply because it would take a lot of self-discipline in order to achieve a beautiful body. In a way of saying, its a <a href=’http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOKEYhyUE2k&feature=fvw’ target=’_blank’>Success Principle</a>. Then it’s simply saying that women wants you to work out. And how do you work out. Well if you like being outdoors, then go jogging, or hiking. Swimming is another fun alternative but this water activity will amaze you more if you see its end results to your body, because you will grow your very own <a href=’http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGY1X9GQjHA’ target=’_blank’>Abdominal Muscle</a>s. Or if you’re the kind of person who wants to stay in the four corners of your home, then try doing home based exercises. For cardio exercises, try the treadmill, or if you want a little intensity for muscle building, try lifting some dumbbells. Of course all these comes with monetary values, so if you are short of financial resources, try hitting the gym; some girls likes guys who does gym activities. Warning: I have given you two simple ways of attracting a girl, always remember that we also dislike men who have big muscles. They’re intimidating to look at, and for one, a man body that’s covered with big muscles and profoundly visible veins is not a thing of beauty. And lastly don’t shower yourself with perfume or colognes, too much fragrance can be nauseating to the nose. Getting the girl of your dreams is as easy as 123, abc and do, re, mi. and with a great body, and a fragrance that’s not too nauseating, I can assure you that you will be able to say “ I am a thing of beauty!” About the author. Mon, 2 Feb 2009 08:21:22 +0100 Bring Out Your Inner Exuberance- Be Glamorous! http://www.healthzine.org/Beauty/glamorous-women- http://www.healthzine.org/Beauty/glamorous-women- What comes into your mind when you hear the word “glamorous”? Angelina Jolie? Catherine Zeta-Jones? Michelle Pfieffer? Yes, these extraordinarily beautiful women are indeed glamorous. And they have long been adored. They exude magnificent charm and no doubt, they are adulated by countless. “Glamorous”. The word itself makes you heave a sigh of exhilaration, of captivation. It comes as no surprise because the word itself is found in old sorcery books. The word “glamour” dates back to antiquity, and it is connoted with sorcery, spell-casting and magical enchantment. You would agree that these adjectives still apply to “glamorous”, wouldn’t you? To date “chic” seems most synonymous to this exuberance. Exuding good taste and personal style. There are different perceptions of good taste and personal style, and of glamour in general. In this age of wide screen and glossy pages, glamorous women are seen everywhere. Others would connote a woman exposing most or all of herself as glamorous. A very descriptive pose might well ruffle some feathers, but it may not convey good taste or refinement. It can even come off as lewd. An explicit image of a woman does not necessarily connote glamour. But perhaps a beautiful woman disclosing some parts of her can be more appealing. A beautiful woman showing refinement and discretion can invoke more feelings of captivation. A sense of mystery, of craving for more arouses more profound emotions. When everything is laid out in the open, and you see everything, wouldn’t you immediately lose interest? The essence of the object has dissipated, and simply gone away. Glamour or enchantment more than attracts the eyes, but more so, the emotions. And when an object of beauty is seen yet not completely, it leaves feelings of longing. Of wanting and of looking deeper. The senses are left to imagine more of what is, or what really is. You can be glamorous, but not necessarily in the sense as Hollywood celebrities are. In your own niche, or in your own circle, you can create your own style and make a lasting impression. You can assert your own individuality and character and be given significant due. Nobody would actually want to be a mere face in the crowd. To some extent, everybody wants to be noticed. But glamour is not achieved overnight. Outstanding beauty needs to be cultivated like a blossoming flower. It is not only appearance which makes glamour, or else it would be dense, or superficial. “Glamorous” to remain enchanting and spell-binding has to be real and genuine. It is coupled with good taste, refinement and character. To cultivate glamour into yourself, start by being confident of who and what you are. Love the image that you see when you look in the mirror. Speak your mind out, and do it with certainty. Embrace the person that you are and be happy. This makes you exude a positive vibe and aura which can get others to look your way. There’s no point in copying someone else’s style. Predictability is often boring, don’t you think? And most of all, keep your feet on the ground. Arrogance is hardly attractive. You need not make noise to be noticed. Be solid in your character and refinement rather than being raucous with empty flamboyance. Substance has a far more lasting effect. To achieve the glamour you want to make a lasting impression, start by working on what is within you. Your inner beauty and confidence will manifest on the outside making you glamorous in your own distinctive way. About the author. Then you have to look good yourself. This doesn’t mean that you must be as beautiful as some of the hottest Hollywood celebrities like Angelina Jolie, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Julia Roberts, Jessica Alba, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez and Brad Pitt. Actually, you are naturally and uniquely beautiful because every person is created beautiful. You just have to bring it out to let other people see it, especially your man or woman. To help you bring out the best in you, here are the most basic tips on how to look good. Having a body that glows with health is always on top of the list. Yes! Because a body that’s glowing with health is beautiful. It’s best that you maintain an ideal weight for you. You can achieve this by having a healthy eating habit; drinking plenty of water; taking the right vitamins and minerals; avoiding too much stress; and having enough sleep the night before. If you’re a little bit overweight, then now is the time for you to shed off those extra pounds. There are many remedies to choose from if you really have that determination. But don’t overdo it. Just gradually decrease your body weight. If losing weight is really difficult for you, don’t lose hope. You could still look good. Though there are downsides to it, being a bit chubby is not physically ugly at all. In fact there are many people who find them irresistible. It actually depends on how you carry it. Tue, 11 Nov 2008 07:01:52 +0100 Ayurveda For Beauty In Its Truest Sense http://www.healthzine.org/Beauty/ayurveda http://www.healthzine.org/Beauty/ayurveda It may sound selfish, but most people want to be thought of as beautiful and desirable. If you happen to want to be regarded so, then its basically normal. We groom, decorate and embellish ourselves to achieve the goal of beauty. Why is this, you may ask. All of us generally have a deep primal need to be noticed, accepted and loved. And beauty being connoted with the good and the positive can make us garner those. And so the quest for beauty continues, from eras of long ago until the present. Countless of means and techniques have been devised for men and women to make themselves beautiful. Of all these techniques, one which has withstood the ages is Ayurveda. What is Ayurveda and how does it relate to beauty? Ayurveda relates to this quality not only on the superficial, physical sense, but all-encompassingly. The Ayurvedic approach expands the possibilities of beauty, it cultivates the person within, not just on the outward. It has to do with appreciating trueness in yourself, others and the world. In Ayurveda, a person is regarded as beautiful not because of a mask that they wear. Beauty is not thought of as somebody else’s idea, nor is it the latest trend. Rather, what makes a person beautiful is because of the reflection of their inner self. The radiance of the inner you is reflected on the outside. And this is beauty which is ultimately honest, individual and timeless- that which is of the truest sense. In an Ayurvedic technique, you will find that being beautiful is effortless. Your actions go with the flow of nature, not against it. You may be practicing discipline, but it is one which you do with pleasure. Practicing Ayurveda means doing things which are enjoyable in themselves. Oil massages, for instance, is a delightful experience. So is eating good food, or inhaling delicious aroma. These are some of the Ayurvedic techniques towards being beautiful, those which are pleasant to engage in. The unique perspective of this approach will make you see yourself in a fresh, new light. The fulfillment creates a sense of joy in you and you eventually make a commitment to yourself. You begin to feel love for yourself and your body, and making yourself beautiful inside and out becomes an inherent tendency. Ayurveda concerns itself with both health and beauty. One needs the other, both should go with one another. Health creates beauty, and vice versa is also true. What happens if you are constantly fatigued or suffer from digestive imbalances and insomnia? These are manifestations of ill health, and they can strip you of that radiance which make you beautiful. They say that those who are beautiful (physically or character-wise) enjoy happiness at the same time. It is because they feel an inner sense of love and appreciation towards themselves and to others as well. These are what often make a person beautiful. The inward love and appreciation that they feel reflected on the outside. Beauty is a thing they claim not only for themselves, but something shared with others and the world. About the author. Fri, 19 Sep 2008 05:09:30 +0200 Seeking To Be A Beautiful Soul http://www.healthzine.org/Beauty/beautiful-soul http://www.healthzine.org/Beauty/beautiful-soul The most powerful force in the Universe is within you- your soul. Keeping in touch with your soul means keeping in touch with your essence. It is the seed and the core of you as a person and as an entity. Live in your soul and you will know peace and beauty in its utmost sense. And peace and beauty is exhilarating. It uplifts and soothes. Like a balm which heals the weariness of the humanity in which you are contained. Your soul is on this plane, and it is on a journey. A journey of learning and a journey of truth. You may now have come to a point of asking so many questions about your life and your existence. What is my purpose for being here, and what is the meaning of my life? You may have been feeling trapped and bound, and something within you is aching to break free. Do you feel unfulfilled, or is there a voice calling you? Or perhaps niggling thoughts telling you there’s something more to do. That there is more out there, for you and for life. Something bigger speaks to you, calling you. And you seek for answers- the fulfillment of your existence. How do you get hold of the answers to which you long for? Look inward, tap into what is within you. Your vast potential, the most powerful force in the Universe- your soul. There are no limits to this absolute essence of you. Your soul knows no boundaries, there is no measure to where it can lead you in this lifetime. Use and connect with the power of your soul and you will understand. And it is understanding on a sublime and profound level. On the level of the utmost, on the level of Love. You will then become all that you want to be, and all that you need to be- a beautiful soul which shines and illuminates. A beautiful extension of the Absolute Divine. This earthly realm is experiencing an explosion of spirituality, metaphysics, psychic phenomena, mediumship and self-help. It is because many are seeking, and they want to heed the call. The call of what is within. A multitude long for answers to life’s most challenging questions. The thirst of their essence which beckons. Traditional thought has become unfulfilling, and many have recognized its fallacy. They long to expand beyond the limits- to just go beyond and seek and find. Leading visionaries have tread the path to enlightenment. And in the same manner as they have done so, so too, can you. Follow the light into which your soul calls, and you will be led. Many have experienced a shift deep within themselves, and this shift transformed. From a weary, searching being to a beautiful soul which lives in truth and beauty. The searching may not have to cease in this lifetime. But in the midst of searching, one has found. Peace and knowing, and letting be. Seek to be a beautiful soul and you will find. All that you want to be, and all that you need to be, will be. You need not look anywhere but within. Heed the call of what is within, and you will be filled- with what the Universe has to offer you in all the vastness of its absolute Love, beauty and power. About the author. Wed, 23 Jul 2008 08:54:17 +0200 Plumping Techniques To Have Sexy Full Lips http://www.healthzine.org/Beauty/full-lips http://www.healthzine.org/Beauty/full-lips Full lips- men just love them and women simply want to have them. Full lips have been regarded as one of the timeless trademarks of beauty. With those, a woman can appear more sensual, and she can easily seduce a man with those assets. Full lips scream “kiss me”, which men (especially) find attractive. So how can you have those for you to stand out and be noticed? In your case as well as with many other women, you might not have been endowed with those attributes. Is it hopeless for you then and should you just wallow in being average and insignificant? Well you don’t have to- thanks to the beauty and cosmetics industry, and technology if you want something drastic. Make-up has long been the ally of the vain, or for people who simply want to enhance how they look. As full lips seem to have been eternally desired by women to be beautiful, cosmetics have been available. For instance, there is a lip pencil, lip gloss and lip sense. First for the pencil. What can a lip pencil do? A pencil is for outlining the lips so that they would be emphasized. They would appear to be pouting when the edges have been lined. As for the gloss, it is for giving and shimmering, wet look. It provides moisture and therefore prevents dryness. A lip gloss is both a useful and ornamental cosmetic. It makes the lips look full while at the same time keeps them from being dry. Then there is the lip sense which imparts a semi-permanent color. As the lips become more colorful, they appear more full and attractive. If you want something drastic for this beauty goal and enhance what you were naturally endowed with, you can also opt for cosmetic surgery. Advancements in science and technology also cater to the desire of many people to be beautiful. In cosmetic surgery, one of the procedures a surgeon can do is to add fillers like collagen, restylyne and hyaluronic acid among others. Nowadays, there is another trend for filling the lip, and that is with tissue derived from a cadaver. Rather unusual when you come to think of it, but it is said to give good results. And there is yet another recent technique called lip augmentation. In a lip augmentation procedure, a small implant is injected into the lips. In this sense, they would appear to be protruding and therefore full. This is one of the more effective techniques, however there have been complaints about it, too. Patients have complained that their lips have felt hard and unnatural after having been augmented. They can feel something hard in the lip which their partners can feel as well. These lip plumping techniques work in their own ways, however, they are yet to be perfected. The beauty industry and well as those in the field of science and technology continue to do their job in this aspect. With these techniques today, a woman can easily have those coveted full lips but perhaps at the expense of having side effects to deal with. About the author. Tue, 24 Jun 2008 06:13:00 +0200 Makeup Tips To Make You Stand Out http://www.healthzine.org/Beauty/makeup-tips http://www.healthzine.org/Beauty/makeup-tips Not many people have flawless skin and perfectly symmetrical features. In short, not everybody is born glamorous. Helen of Troy may have been so stunning that a war was waged because of her. But back in the real world, many women look average and unnoticeable to downright plain. If you are one of those women who want to stand out but think that you don’t have what it takes, take heart. You could score above what Mother Nature has given you- thanks to the wonderful invention called makeup. Makeup has long existed to cater to the vanities of men and women. Take note, it’s not just now but for decades and centuries ago, too. This just goes to show that the quest for beauty is eternal and everybody wants to be beautiful. Makeup makes this job easier. So what are the best makeup tips to make you glow? To enhance features which you consider as your assets, and to hide those which are your liabilities. First thing you have to look for is a good skin foundation- one that would make you appear to have glamorous, porcelain-looking smooth skin. Other than making your skin look exquisite, a good foundation will also protect your skin from harmful weather forces and pollution. Use it in conjunction with a moisturizer and you have a good defense against skin aging. How about makeup tips for sparkling eyes? The key is to use light-colored eye shadow. Beige or vanilla, brown and mauve would be good colors. If you want to play with the subtle undertones of your skin, you can try eye shadows like gray, pale purple, olive and gold. If you are adventurous at heart, bronze or tan eye shadow may satisfy your bold personality. Or better yet, any shining translucent eye shadow powder. Want to go in for a layered look? Combining two colors would do the trick. When it comes to makeup tips, sometimes you can’t help experimenting. Experimentation is perfectly alright, but be wary not to go overboard. For eye makeup, mascara is one aspect you’d rather not forget. A dash of mascara will add drama to your eyes. A brown shade or clear mascara would suit well if you want to have a “no makeup look”. Curling your eyelashes will give you a wide innocent gaze on the other hand. Remember that curling the eyelashes goes before applying mascara. Better that you don’t curl your lower lashes because they have the tendency to fall off. With the right makeup tips and application, you can highlight positive facial features while problematic zones are hidden. For your foundation or concealer to stay all day, dust it with some translucent powder. This application will also help put blemishes like dark circles, scars and pimples out of sight. If your problem is really obstinate acne, a dab of concealer bordering on the yellow or green tone will be ideal, or one shade lighter than your foundation. If your downside is a larger nose, you can mask it with light colored, shoulder-length voluminous hair. Remember that makeup tips is all about making you stand out, and NOT the makeup itself. For your features to be enhanced and your facial drawbacks to be concealed. If you know how to do it right, makeup can be your best friend. About the author. Wed, 28 May 2008 15:11:27 +0200 Inner Beauty: What The Soul Sees http://www.healthzine.org/Beauty/inner-beauty1 http://www.healthzine.org/Beauty/inner-beauty1 Seeing a beautiful object or person makes the senses fulfilled. That is beauty on the outside. Indeed it is a pleasant experience when the senses are stimulated. But is this pleasure for long and is it of the essence? But what if the beautiful person one sees is heartless and insensitive? What if they lack character or dignity? Would that outer beauty suffice? Looking at a beautiful person merely gives pleasure. But what of beauty which is magnetic and uplifts the soul? When one sees the inner beauty of a person, then that may happen. Beauty is one of humanity’s most utmost quests. Many people are under the notion that it has to do with appearances. One sees a shapely woman with flawless skin and impeccable features. And they think that’s what it’s all about. But beauty which is more substantial is often that which is intangible. That of the character, the heart and the soul. But people sometimes get impatient. They get attracted to something they immediately see. They hold on to something they can grasp and touch- the material. But what is material is temporal and passing. And that which is invisible to the eyes is more lasting. The folly of youth is oftentimes credulous. They see a beautiful person and they render affection for them. Their notion of love is submitted to something which is skin deep. So they enter into marriage with the object of their adulation. Through time, they may disregard its appearance. Then come the crux of the matter- inner beauty. Is outer beauty completed by inner beauty? There ought to be a balance between the two. A pleasing appearance is to be complemented by substance. Attractiveness on the outside is oftentimes merely for passing pleasure. What makes life worthwhile is inner beauty. It is said that it’s possible to live with a lame and dumb person. But what of living with a heartless and insensitive one? One can imagine the grueling dilemma of such a circumstance. It will strip happiness and fulfillment from life. And sometimes it’s so easy for people to judge. They think beautiful people are instantly happy, and they feel sorry for those who are not. Then again, one should take a closer look. Life and happiness is so much more than being beautiful. It has to do with fulfillment of one’s inner needs and longings. It can be the warmth of a home, a loving partner or being abounding in compassion. This again, has nothing to do with a pleasing appearance. These have to do with something within. So one should not be quick in judging. In giving more due to what can immediately be seen by the eyes. The physical is merely superficial. One should take time to see what is within - to look beyond what the eyes can see. It is where the essence of beauty lies. What is within can make the soul happy. What is without is merely for the eyes. What the eyes see are merely on the surface, but what the soul sees is more noble. About the author. Thu, 8 May 2008 11:39:36 +0200 Beautiful People Who Bask In Their Own Beauty http://www.healthzine.org/Beauty/beautiful-people http://www.healthzine.org/Beauty/beautiful-people Beautiful people are generally given more due and attention. After all, they possess attributes which are pleasing to the senses. That’s why everybody is in for the quest of beauty. Everybody wants to be noticed or at least acknowledged. And so they strive to look good and attractive. Women are especially compelled to be beautiful. It is often the feminine which is the symbolic representation of beauty. Such is why there are women who become obsessed to be perfect and flawless and attractive. Lucky for those who can achieve them, but it may be unrealistic to do so. But many women hold on to the standards set by celebrities. And so they strive for the unrealistic, and become bothered when they are unable to do so. Such an attitude is generally unhealthy as beauty does not necessarily mean perfection. Beauty is most of all about loving yourself and being happy with it. It is having a sense of freedom in being yourself and yes, being confident with it. Sure, physical attributes matter, but what is essential is your totality as a person. Are you happy in general? Do you have meaningful and healthy relationships all around you? Do you take satisfaction in your career or vocation? The key is that you are content and happy with what you have. All these will make you radiate with positivity. Sure you may not be glamorous, but you glow. You are beaming with positive energy and people love being with you. People are comfortable in your warm and genuine presence. It is not merely one-faceted beauty on the physical aspect. It is you as a person who is beautiful. It means that you are a beautiful person, and it is something more substantial. So what really are beautiful people, and who are beautiful people? Are they those with flawless skin and stunning clothes? Are they those with impeccably symmetrical physical features? Those who are perfectly enhanced with make-up? Or perhaps those who enjoy immense popularity? Those are beautiful people in some aspects. They do have their own characteristics which render them to have claim on beauty. But that does mean that you have to strive to be like them? And if you’re not, should you sulk and wallow in insignificance? Remember that you have your own right to beauty. It is when you see your own beauty that you become beautiful. And what is your own beauty? Take time to see your own specialness and uniqueness. It doesn’t have to be on a grand scale. Just make it a point that you create beauty wherever you are. Then you would become beautiful. Speak kind words and reach out. Or connect with people and make a difference in their lives. Radiate with a warm and welcoming personality and people will see something in you. Something real and genuine which is far more engaging than something superficial. This may not give you wide acclaim, but in your own way, you matter to people. You will be acknowledged in the sense that you are unique and that you are real as a person. You don’t have to keep to the standards of what is popular, but rather bask in the pleasure of being your own beautiful you. About the author. Thu, 17 Apr 2008 11:58:24 +0200 Beauty In The Eyes Of The True Self http://www.healthzine.org/Beauty/beauty http://www.healthzine.org/Beauty/beauty Most people connote beauty with physical looks. When somebody says “beautiful” what they would usually relate it with is the glamour of make up and clothes. Of those men and women lacing the glossy pages of magazines, or those on tv or in the movies. But such a definition is often superficial. Those are qualities which can be altered, or can be tampered by human hands. Beauty has so much more to do than those. Such a quality is not only on the outside, but more importantly, on the inside. A person’s character or inner self are those which are more substantial. They may not be so apparent on the first glance, but they are what matter. True beauty has to do with a person’s true nature. By this, it means beauty is what they really are. It is within the person, and it is the person. When somebody says “I am beautiful”, is this being beautiful in the real sense? Maybe it has to do with them looking in the mirror criticizing and judging themselves. But the true essence of beauty is in seeing oneself and others through the eyes of the True Self. Take for instance by looking at a baby. The baby is fragile and adorable, such a delight to look at. What is the nature of a baby? Where babies are concerned, there is no judgment. Babies have not yet been influenced by any conditioning. Babies are just what they are. They are neutral to themselves as well as to others. Everybody has been babies once. Being a baby means accepting oneself and others unconditionally. It’s being in touch with the true beauty within and without. It’s having a complete sense of freedom. Not being bound by rules or prejudices or conditioning. It is simply being. Attuning with the beauty within means letting go of all judgments and criticism of the physical nature. No prejudices are imposed even on one’s mental and emotional selves. It’s simply in accepting and living moment by moment in peace. One ought to always remember that they have a choice. And that choice is to be rendered in choosing to be clear within and without. It’s in remembering that one is worthy and deserving to live a beautiful and healthy life in every way. This is beauty- choosing to be free of biases and cleaving to goodness. It’s in accepting oneself and others through the eyes of the True Self. Only then can one feel the essence of freedom. Of loving and living and of being. The physical and the superficial self become trivial as one is in touch with their true essence. And that is far worth more fulfilling. It is akin to bliss as one is not bound by criticisms or biases. Keeping in touch with one’s true nature gives one the liberty to be themselves. Because the true nature is pure, just like a baby’s. Looking at a baby, one can derive truth. In that fragile, delicate state, there is truth and beauty in its truest sense. About the author. Tue, 1 Apr 2008 06:39:48 +0200 The Crowning Glory And Hair Beauty Products http://www.healthzine.org/Beauty/hair-beauty-products1 http://www.healthzine.org/Beauty/hair-beauty-products1 The hair is called the crowning glory for a reason. It’s what makes a person stand out if it’s well-cared for. When it’s healthy and glowing and vibrant. The hair can make or break the whole persona, really. So it’s only best that it is well tended to and nourished. Hairtypes primarily has to do with genetics and health, but as for hairstyle, it’s a personal preference. It tells so much about one’s appearance and personality. Think of what comes to mind when a person has unkempt, messy and smelly hair. A lot really- like maybe a person is unhygienic or unfashionable. Or that maybe they have low self-esteem and confidence. Through the hair one can express their personality, or even mood. Indeed, can be significant in so many ways when it comes to exuding one’s individuality and personal style. When one opts to have a certain hairstyle, they may go to the beauty salon for that. That way, they can sport the hairstyle which suits them best, and through the hands of an expert at that. Treatments can also be availed of in the salon. As the salon has the appropriate hair beauty products, hairstylists there are in a better position to give treatments. In the beauty salon, haircuts and hairstyles and all sorts of treatments can be had, and in the hands of those who know best. Other than the beauty salon, one should take time for haircare at home as well. Especially washing the hair and the scalp. The scalp should be washed in the same manner or else scalp disorders may occur. The scalp may also become a breeding ground for bacteria. Hairwashing is part of bathing on the other hand. Hair beauty products such as a shampoo and conditioner would be most suited for this. Shampoo is used to cleanse thoroughly, and as for the conditioner, it’s for replacing moisture. It would also be for protection of the strands and to prevent breakage. Many advertisements say about shampoos being able to hasten hairgrowth. But hairgrowth in fact happens to its own accord. Hair beauty products such as shampoos and conditioners might have nothing to do with it. Genetics, health and nutrition are some factors which contribute to healthy hair. These are significantly associated with hairhealth. Take for instance a person who is undergoing medical treatment. Their hairhealth would be affected as well. Or also when a person lives a stressful life or has recently been traumatized. Their health would surely affect the life of their hair. The diet also plays a crucial role, as nutrition is essential for better hairhealth. For better hairhealth, the diet should be consisted of fruits and vegetables and proteins. Fat has to be minimized as well. One should also avoid exposing the hair to harsh conditions such as too much sunlight or wind as these can cause dryness and damage. All these and more are ways of being mindful about hairhealth. Through beauty products, a healthy lifestyle and the right beauty regimen, one can indeed be crowned with glory and stand out. Wed, 30 Jan 2008 10:40:40 +0100 The Liberty To Be With Your Natural Beauty http://www.healthzine.org/Beauty/natural-beauty1 http://www.healthzine.org/Beauty/natural-beauty1 Natural beauty. Many people would say that is so passé. That it is old fashioned and simply outmoded. After all, the fashion industry reigns with all its glamour. Is there ever room for natural beauty anymore? The pages of trendy magazines are all laced with glamorous women- garbed in chic and designer clothes. Covered with make up and cosmetics from the hands of so called artists. Such has been connoted with beauty- sophistication and glamour. When somebody says “natural beauty”, it is probably something which most would disregard. Natural beauty seem to hold no attraction to the masses. Natural beauty is connoted with the ordinary and the commonplace. Even the mediocre. Where cosmetics and cosmetic procedures dominate, natural beauty seems to hold no sway. After all, glamorous is striking. It is fabulous and flamboyant. With all these ostentation, natural beauty is subdued. Such is why the fashion industry is so lucrative. It is also predominant and it is commanding. The majority is swayed by what the fashion industry dictates. What clothes to wear, which cosmetics to use. Who the trendsetters are. The fashion industry makes the rules as to what is socially acceptable. More so, the fashion industry imposes as to who should fit in. That’s why it takes courage to stand out with one’s natural beauty. To just be and to bask in what one truly is. It takes a great amount of confidence for one to just be themselves and take pride in it. Others may think that those garbed in designer clothes and accessories are those who are truly confident. But for all they know, these people can be hiding their insecurities. They hide behind expensive belongings. But really, who are they without these possessions? They allow these effects to define who they are. Until it gains dominance over them and they lose their own identity. They merely become one of the faces in the crowd wearing what everybody wears. They drown in the multitude which the trend has gained control of. When one keeps to their natural beauty, others would think that they are inconspicuous. But the truth is, natural beauty is where true beauty lies. Natural beauty knows no fallacy. Natural beauty may not be so striking, but it is something which is authentic. When one is confident with who they are, then that means they have character. Individuality. And that is something worth taking note of. That’s what natural beauty is about. It may not be so remarkable but it is something worthy. There is no need to conform with what fashion commands. It is taking a stand to be apart and to be free to be what one truly is. True beauty is not covered with make up, but it is something inherent which stands out. When one basks in their true beauty, then they are happy with themselves. They know who they are and are not afraid to show it. They are at liberty to be which takes tremendous character and confidence to achieve. It can be so easy to be blinded by the glitter of glamour. But what can be authentic may not be so shiny after all. It takes keen eyes to see what real beauty is. It may not be in the spotlight but in one corner where it hidden. After all, what truly matters is worth looking for. About the author. Dr. Rose Windale is a successful Health & Wellness Coach who has been advising and coaching individuals for many years. Thu, 10 Jan 2008 05:44:53 +0100 Is There Really An Issue With Small Breasts? http://www.healthzine.org/Beauty/small-breasts http://www.healthzine.org/Beauty/small-breasts When a man wants to appreciate a woman in the fullness of her beauty, he usually takes notice of her breasts. The breasts are foremost aspects of a woman which make up her beauty. When it comes to beautiful breasts, breast size is usually a consideration. Big, full breasts are generally more attractive. They are bound to turn men’s heads. Such is why women with bigger breasts tend to be more confident. But what about women with small breasts? Are women with small breasts more insecure than those with bigger breasts? “You have to do with what nature has given you”. This is probably one of the most common advices offered when it comes to beauty. But is that always the case? What about women with small breasts? Does it mean they have to live with small breasts forever? Men are attracted to women and women are attracted to men. That’s the rule of nature. And so one wants to be attractive to the other. Women especially are expected to be beautiful. They have to know how to take care of themselves. After all, it is the women who are wooed. Thus, they have to attract men. Beautiful breasts are assets for a woman which can make her gain the attention of men. Women with small breasts then have a disadvantage. But should women with small breasts be contented with what they have? It is often easy for others to say that they should be so. But what is it too that others always say? “He who wears tight fitting shoes knows where it hurts”, that’s it. Perhaps that’s how it is with women with small breasts. It is usually women with good breast size that say there is nothing wrong with small breasts. But how would they really know? They haven’t experienced the dilemma of it. Take the case of two women walking down the street- one with big breasts and one with small breasts. Which is men bound to notice? More likely it is the woman with big breasts. This can be a real let down to the other with small breasts. In the arena of beauty, small breasts can bring about a lot of insecurities. So the solution? Enhance! That’s why there is an offshoot of countless breast enhancement programs these days. From pills and creams to bust enlargement procedures. They’re basically heaven-sent for women with small breasts. A woman can just basically take her pick of which option to take for her small breasts. But of course, she has to be wary, too. Some breast enhancement measures work and others don’t. There are those which are safe and there are those which are not. Still, others are expensive and others affordable and reasonable. One of the most recommended breast enhancements for small breasts are those which are natural. Natural breast enhancement does work provided the right product or program is resorted to. Natural breast enhancement is safe and it is more affordable. Yes, small breasts can be an issue. But with natural breast enhancement, it no longer has to be! About the author.
