Making Workout Routines Work

Tags: , ,

have to be done 30 minutes 7 days a week. Or maybe 60 minutes 5 days a week. Some even say 90 minutes 3 times a week. This information has trickled down to the majority for so long. But coming to think of it, this idea is for robots. It does seem robotic to do workout routines mechanically. Such is why so many people fail on following through with their workout routines. They eventually lose motivation and drive till their workout routines go down the drain. It’s because working out has become a tedious obligation. Workout routines have become boring routines in a sense.

It’s like one has to deliberately put in time for it. Deliberate effort is needed for exercise. Such is why so many people fail in this endeavor. What does it take to make workout routines work, really? Well for one thing, working out doesn’t have to be called “labor”. Working out should come naturally. It should be done in the same sense as one does eating, showering or working. should come naturally like all the other necessary routines. Yes, exercising is necessary. It is beneficial in so many ways. Health and fitness are two of the primary rewards of exercising.

Along with them go looking good and an overall sense of well-being. Take the lifestyle of people about a century ago. They did have workout routines. Not in the sense that they go to the gym and have a regular workout program. But they did walk to the store. And they did their laundry. They worked in the field or the factory. They were basically physically active. That’s their workout routine. Taking time to move and finding time to move. Nobody really had to go to the gym to workout for hours on end. But so many changes came with progress.

There came computers, office buildings and cars. With these came hurrying and scurrying. People are frantically running after time. People in this age are frantic. Nevertheless they are sedentary. They are busy yet only in answering phone calls and in browsing through the computer. Until everything becomes drudgery, including workout routines. But one doesn’t have to drag themselves doing workout routines. Sure everybody is busy. But when one comes to think of it, they actually have much free time. This then can be used for workout routines. It may even take just a couple of minutes for one to do workout routines.

But this couple of minutes can be done 10-15 times a day when it can be squeezed in. This routine delivers results, too. Bending or squatting. A few stretches or dips. All done sparingly throughout the day. That’s less effort, but nonetheless they are workout routines that can burn fat. No need to spend for costly gym memberships for workout routines. All it takes is the initiative to move all the time. It’s all about being mindful about being physically active. No doubt, with these sort of , one would feel good. In due time, they would look good, too.

Much more, they think they did with less effort.
