So Do You Want To Be A Living Canvas?

Tattooing is an expression of the self and is usually a permanent form of body alteration. To some, they consider this as a jewel which cannot be removed. It is in this art form that they are happiest. Moreover these body art are representations of their past experiences/chapters of their lives that they want to remember.

To some tattoos are expressions of their love to that particular person. Art comes in various forms, it can be through paint, multi-media or ink. And in the form of ink, the canvas is most recommended, and the human body used as a canvas is the most obvious place for a person who wishes to express his/her personal emotions.

In fact we all use our bodies for self-expression: It only takes sheer imagination, and all outlets are endless. And for those people who want to get one, but without proper thought and for bad reasons, then the most probable effect is that you come out regretting. But if you feel that a tattoo will complete your desired expression for as long as you live, and you are aware of its after effects to your personality as well as its message to others, and still choosing it for all the reasons that you believe is right, then you may be doing an admirable job.

Now let us learn more about the different kinds of tattoos. First the amateur tattoos: These are done by individuals or by their friends by jabbing ink, charcoal or ashes under the skin with a pin. These kind of art lack artistry, and because these practices are done under unsanitary conditions, the risk of infections are very high.





Another form of tattoos is the cultural tattoos. This is done through traditional practices and only to certain members. This is common in tribes and ethnic groups. These bodily arts serve as a ritual, societal and cosmetic functions as well. And lastly, the professional tattoos. When wanting to get your very own mark of self expression; it is fully recommended that you seek a professional to do this for you.

Professional tattooists are registered artists who use a tattoo machine. Now why do people get a tattoo? In connection to this, there are only two reasons why a person would like to get a tattoo. Reason number 1 is to demonstrate individual uniqueness, and reason number 2 is to show that you are a member of a certain group.

And lastly check the tattoo area, look for a separate tattooing area and make sure that the area is clean and with a hard surface, and with no random items that can contaminate the work area.

Getting tattoos are very serious decision to make, and if you are not certain, then you may want to think twice.And lastly a little research will be very handy. Think well!
